It is your own responsibility to enter the correct delivery address during checkout. If you input the wrong address details neither Lasair candles or the courier can be held accountable for this. Lasair Candles uses multiple delivery services, these include Royal Mail, Yodel, Parcelforce, DPD, UPS. All international deliveries must set the delivery address to be the same as the payment/billing address.
We aim to dispatch all non-personalised orders within 1 - 2 working days. Occassionally due to Low Stock or High demand it may take us slightly longer to get your order dispatched, we will however reach out to you to give you an estimated timescale if this is the case and endeavor to get your order out to you as soon as we can. We ask that you leave a reasonable amount of time for all orders and are not responsible for any loses incurred due to late dispatch.
FREE Standard UK delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class) will be applied to all order over £40. UK orders under £40 will be subject to a £3.95 postage packaging charge.
Express Shipping (Royal Mail 1st Class or Parcelforce 48 Hour - depending on order weight) is available for UK orders for a flat fee of £5.95.
We charge a flat £10 fee for all deliveries to Ireland. Dispatched with Royal Mail International Tracked(3 - 7 working days) or DPD (2 - 5 working days).
We charge a flat £15 fee for all deliveries to European Countries(excluding Ireland). Dispatched with Royal Mail International Tracked(3 - 9 working days) or an alternative courier for larger orders.
Our international delivery postage is calculated by the weight of the products you purchase, beginning at £25 and getting cheaper proportionally the more you order. ie 1 candle might cost £25 to ship and 2 candles might cost £30(only costing £15/candle to ship). We send all international orders under 2Kg via Royal Mail International Tracked service ( 5 - 10 working day delivery); For orders larger than 2kg we shop around to find the most competitive tracked shipping rates that will get your order to you in a reasonable time. We appreciate that there might be cheaper shipping rates available out there however we believe that the additional cost for International Tracked is worth the peace of mind and not having to wait 2 - 3 months on an economy delivery service.
Working days include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Working days exclude any local or national bank or public holidays.
Delivery times and late/missing deliveries
We ship both domestically and internationally. Shipping times depend on your location. We provide guides on our checkout page when you are choosing your shipping option to the estimate typical delivery times from dispatch. These are guides and we do not guarantee that your order will arrive in this time period. We are not responsible for any loses incurred due to late delivery.
If you have not received your parcel within the guide timeframe provided please do not panic, instead we request that you wait another 2 working days and then send us a wee email informing us so that we can look into the matter on your behalf.
During unusual circumstances such as postal strikes etc delivery times can be substantially longer. This is unfortunately out of our hands and we are unable to resend orders or refund as a cancelled order until 28 days after the dispatch date.
We do not guarantee any order will arrive by a certain date. Refunds will not be issued based on late deliveries. Refunds of additional postage charges over the next cheapest option will only be offered on upgraded postage options such as 'UK express shipping' if the parcel has not been delivered within the couriers provided timeframe +1 working day.
